Robbie since is a music genius understood there was a void to fill so released ’angels’ (the song liam Gallagher would have written even if he ll never acknowledge it) and became the best ’rockish’ popstar. His talent and his credibility are these: his irony, his bold way in copying the biggest singer (expecially Freddie mercury) and in flirting with all the type of music without belonging to anyone, in offering us amazingly pop songs with an old style rockstar s behaviour.
And that s what intensive care is indeed. The gay club anthem ’tripping’ looks the perfect mix between the clash and the village people. In ’ a place to crash’ he plays the rolling stones and in ’king of bloke and birds he plays – hold on- neil young. Does he have fun? We do! SIMONA SIRI.
